Today, as part of Healthy Lifestyles week, we looked at the technique we should use when washing our hands and when we should wash our hands. We learnt that it is important to wash your hands before eating, after going to the toilet, after touching animals, after sneezing and after playing outside. We then watched a short video about how to wash our hands properly to ensure all of the germs have been washed away.
To test how well we wash our hands we then used the hygiene glow box to see if any germs were left on our hands after washing them. We learnt that we all need to wash around our nails a bit better!
