This morning, Year 3 were privileged to take part in an allotment session led by Ellie from the Shropshire Wildlife Trust. As part of our morning, the children cleared and prepared our new allotment area which they will be developing into a flourishing and productive zone.
To develop their understanding, the children used books and internet research to create Google Slides presentations. As well as finding out more about maintaining an allotment, this gave the children an opportunity to develop their Digital Literacy skills, including formatting documents.
