Earth Day Acrostics

Today the children created amazing poems about hedgerow species based on the poetry book “The Lost Words” by Robert Macfarlane. It was written because “that which we do not name, we do not save.” If our children enjoy recognising plants and animals, they will be far more inclined to save them!
