Year 6 visited Jackfield Tile Museum to look at Ironbridge’s rich industrial past. We learned about different types of floor and wall tiles and discussed their uses within buildings. As we moved around the museum, our challenge was to locate the pieces of tile that we had been given to its larger body. We then took our designs to the tile making workshop to create fantastic tube-lined tiles ready for the kiln!
