🌟🌟Achievement Assembly 🌟🌟

Friday 5th September 2025 

We have all had a wonderful first week back at Newdale. All the staff are proud of how the children have returned back to school, enthusiastic and ready to learn.  It has been so lovely to see our pupils looking so smart wearing their uniform in their new classes. The pupils completed lots of ‘getting to know you’ activities and have launched their new topics! We hope you have heard all about it at home!

BeSMART Cup winners who will have a special treat next week:  

Mrs Stack’s class for starting year 6 with an outstanding attitude towards their learning, working extremely hard in lessons and for being an absolute pleasure to have in the classroom. What a fantastic first week!! Well done!

House Points 

This week, Wrekin gained the most house points with 192 points – the other houses were very close behind!

Achievers of the week: 

Year 6 achievers: Jake for a very mature attitude to working and being helpful and considerate all week. Charlie for an outstanding attitude and superb effort towards his learning both in school and at home.  

Year 5 achievers:  Olivia for a being great example to others, being polite and giving lovely answers in lessons. Hannah for great enthusiasm, manners and effort this week in all lessons. 

Year 4 achievers: Parker for having a fantastic work ethic and producing excellent work throughout the week. Jomi for always being ready to learn and sharing his ideas in class discussions.   

Year 3 achievers: Isabel for showing all aspects of the BeSMART code the first week back. She has demonstrated what a great team member she is and is always ready to learn. Robbie for a brilliant start in Year 3! He has been polite, listened carefully and been a fabulous role model to his peers in assembly.  

Year 2 achievers: Elsie for creating a wonderful fact file about herself, using capital letters and full stops in her sentences. Macey-Grace for creating fabulous sentences using capital letters, full stops and nouns. 

Year 1 achievers: Alfie for his fabulous first smiley week in Year 1. He has tried his best in all the activities and been a super role model to everyone.  Jayden for being such a positive and helpful member of the class and working super hard on his maths and literacy work this week. What a great start to year 1! 😊
