This week Reception have loved learning about Chinese New Year traditions. We had a great afternoon learning how to use chopsticks, finding our fortunes with fortune cookies and we even tasted seaweed! Year 3 travelled through Prehistory and knapped flint, painted caves, made weapons for hunting, made clay pots to store food and built a roundhouse! They also enjoyed their Newdale Cup treat of going to the park for some well-deserved fun!
The staff at Newdale would like to wish all of the children a very happy half term. We are looking forward to seeing them when they return.
