Achievement Assembly

This week the children have all impressed up with their commitment to learning – even in such hot temperatures! Years 4, 5 and 6 were lucky enough to have a presentation from visitors from the Telford African and Afro-Carribean Resource Centre. They learned all about Windrush and Jamaican culture. Our visitors commented on how super the behaviour in every class was. Year 4 have also really impressed us with their times table recall this week and all completed their national Multiplication Tables Check. We were very proud to celebrate some impressive sporting achievements this week too; Year 5 and 6 came 2nd in their Athletics competition, Year 2 footballers also placed second and Holly came first in her kickboxing competition and has now qualified to train with Team England! Well done to you all! 😊

BeSMART Cup: Mrs Everall’s Class for outstanding behaviour and being so welcoming to our visitors during the Windrush Presentation.

Attendance winners this week: KS1 winners are Miss Harrison’s year 1 class with 98%; KS2 winners are Mrs Everall’s year 4 class with almost 100% (99.67!). They will enjoy an additional playtime and look after Gertie or Omar in the first week back after half term. Well done to you all.
