Stone Age day

We are off to a great start on Stone Age day in Mrs Churm’s class! We have dressed up, tried to make fire, made butter and flour and built shelters!

Y3 cinema trip

Tomorrow, Year 3 will need to come to school in their normal school uniform for the cinema trip. Can they please bring a pair of trainers in their bags for PE in the afternoon.

Year 3 Homework

This week you will see some extra homework activities stuck into your child’s reading diary to support the work we are doing in school. We would love your child to complete as many of these as they wish to, it may be one or it may be all! Any work brought in will get it’s chance to be up on the ‘Wall of Fame’ in class.

Year 3 Gurdwara trip

Today Year 3 visited a Gurdwara as part of their topic around understanding Sikhism. They were able to experience how Sikhs pray, how and why they wear a turban, see and touch some of the 5Ks and taste some food in the Langar. It helped to deepen their understanding around some of the customs and beliefs in Sikhism. They all followed our BeSMART code and made us so proud with their listening and respect for other beliefs.
