Year 1 change of PE date

Year 1 will be having PE on Thursday 20^th November instead of Friday 21^st November. Normal sessions will resume the following week.

Autumn 2 Curriculum Year 1

Hi all. We hope you have had a lovely half term. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow. Please find attached a copy of this half term’s curriculum.

Our New Jumping Orange words for this half term will be. Please practise these spellings with your child and they will tested on these in the week leading up to Christmas.

Year 1 Forest School

We are looking forward to starting Forest School on Wednesday 5th November and sessions will run every Wednesday until Christmas. Please can children bring a change of clothes , waterproof coat and wellies for these sessions. We look forward to spending time in the outdoors.

Year 1 Phonics Assembly

Good evening. We would like to invite you to our Year 1 Phonics Assembly. We will be sharing what we do in a Read Write Inc Phonics Session and with the help of the children we will be teaching you how to read and spell tricky words. Year 1 School Council Elections

Today we had a fabulous day writing our own manifestos about how kind we are and how we would be a super school council member. We then listened to the 5 children who opted to take part. Well done you were super brave sharing your ideas and I loved your slogans! Well Done to Hilda and Kobie for being our new school council members and to the children who didn’t get chosen too, you were amazing sports. Well done Year 1!
