Newdale debate team had their inaugural outing at St George’s Primary today. Whilst only 4 children could take part in the formal debate about learning Bushcraft skills, every member used their debating skills and spoke confidently in front of over 100 children from all over Telford and Wrekin. Our debate went down to the wire and the vote had to be recounted before we narrowly missed out on victory. The children have worked very hard over the past few weeks to build their rhetorical skills and research their arguments and they were amazing today!
