For Art Day on Wednesday, children spent the day taking part in a wide range of creative activities inspired by the poems, songs and stories that they are learning off by heart in school. We were also lucky enough to welcome author and illustrator Steve Smallman into school to lead some illustration masterclasses for KS2 and assemblies for Reception and KS1. Also on Wednesday, Year 6 children took part in workshops linked to Charles Darwin and Ancient Greece and they look forward to celebrating their Art Day next week.
