🌟🌟Achievement Assembly 🌟🌟

Friday 25th September 2026

This week, children have been learning about the British Values of democracy, mutual respect, individual liberty, the rule of law and tolerance. A highlight of the week was our school elections, where pupils experienced democracy in action by voting for new members of the School Parliament.

Throughout the week, children took part in activities and discussions that encouraged them to reflect on their rights and responsibilities, respect different viewpoints, and consider how they can make a positive contribution to our school community. We are proud of the thoughtful way pupils have engaged and congratulate our newly elected School Parliament members.

On Friday, we celebrated European Languages Day. Across the school, pupils dressed up in their flag colours, enjoyed food tasting and even learned some simple words and phrases in different languages.

Year 3 enjoyed their Newdale Cup treat in Base Camp. We made bug hotels, dens and played lots of games. A big well done to the whole of Year 3 for earning the first Newdale Cup of the year!

Achievers of the week:

Year 6 achievers: Archie for being a fantastic role model with exceptional manners and always showing respect and kindness to everyone. Esmae for being a caring and supportive Newdaler and a great playground buddy.

Year 5 achievers:  Lianna for being a great model within class, answering questions, trying her best and always happy to help. Jake for being an excellent kindness role model. He always helps his friends whenever they are struggling out of the kindness of his heart. It is lovely to see in class!

Year 4 achievers: Omish for being a super supportive member of the class, helping others when they find learning a little tricky. Kamila for a fantastic contribution to our school election producing a great manifesto and speech!

House Dojo Points:

This week, we shared our running totals of how many Dojos each house has been awarded so far. Wenlock are currently in the lead but all of the houses are incredibly close! We are so impressed with how much effort the pupils have been putting in to earn Dojos! In 3 weeks time, we will reveal the final results and which house will be enjoying a house celebration before the end of the half-term.
