Friday 21st November
This week has been filled with visits to the cinema and further afield. Year 6 debaters went to HLC to have a debate with other schools. They heard lots of interesting topics and contributed very maturely. They even won their debate; well done year 6 team!
Year 4 went on a trip to Molineux stadium this week. They learnt what makes a good match report from a press officer at the club. They got to have a look at the stadium and learn some facts about Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Year 2 enjoyed a wonderful Guy Fawkes workshop on Tuesday where they learnt all about the Gunpowder plot. They made a fire work picture with the Houses of Parliament, role-played as different characters and even had to crack the secret code. The children learnt lots of new knowledge to help support with their history unit of work.
Finally, Year 5 went to Shrewsbury Museum where the children took part in a printing class and a Viking workshop. The children were able to learn about the town of Shrewsbury in more detail and explore games, crafts, clothing and pottery from the Viking era.
