Throughout May, we are celebrating Get Caught Reading Month — a wonderful chance to shine a spotlight on the joy of reading!
We would love your help in capturing our children in the act of reading. Please send in a photo of your child enjoying a book. This could be:
- Reading in their favourite cosy spot
- Reading outdoors in the sunshine
- Reading to a sibling, pet or teddy
- Reading something unusual or fun (comics, magazines, recipes, signs, etc.)
- Reading in an unexpected place — creativity encouraged!
You can either:
– Print the photo and send it into school, or
– Email it to your child’s year group email address
We will be creating a lovely display to celebrate all the wonderful readers in our school.
