Week 2 Achievement Assembly

Friday 24th April 2026

It has been another busy week at Newdale. On Monday, we had a visit from the police and fire teams who supported us during the evacuation. The children asked some thoughtful questions and were congratulated on how well they handled the situation.

On Wednesday, we welcomed lots of parents and carers into school for our next Stay and Share session – thank you to all who attended.

On Thursday, Year 4 enjoyed an Anglo-Saxon–themed workshop with Shrewsbury Museum, learning about archaeology, writing their names in runes, and making clay pots.

Finally, on Thursday evening, we were all blown away by the fantastic acts who performed in Newdale’s Got Talent. Thank you for supporting this event and a huge thank you to the children for their hard work, resilience and bravery in performing in front of an audience. We are all very proud!
