The weather is forecast to be extremely warm, so please think carefully about your child’s costume. Some pirate outfits can be quite thick or layered, so if you feel their costume may be too hot, please choose something lighter or adapt it so they stay comfortable.
To help keep everyone safe in the heat, please ensure your child:
- comes in short sleeves where possible
- brings a sun hat, water bottle and suncream
- brings their PE kit in a separate bag, in case they need to change into cooler clothes
