Here are the second week activities for you to try if you wish!

Please remember there is not an expectation for you to complete these, simply just a suggestion if you would like to complete any of your choice!

Year 3 Summer Activities – Week 1 20th July

Hello Year 3’s

We have been extremely impressed with all your hard work at home during the summer term. It has been wonderful seeing your work on the blog and receiving emails showcasing your home learning. We are all extremely proud of you.

Over the holidays we will be posting a weekly photo of possible activities you might like to try or complete with your family. These activities are not compulsory but just a suggestion in case you would like to carry on doing extra learning.

Please note any activities completed on PurpleMash will not be marked by teachers over the summer holidays.

Most importantly, have fun, enjoy time with your family, keep smiling and be positive.

Hello Year 3’s!

WE have loved seeing what you have been getting up to in literacy!

This week as it is the last week of summer e thought it would be a lovely idea to reflect on the past year!

Year 3 Final week of Spellings W/C 13th July – Jumping Orange Words

JUMPING ORANGE SPELLLINGS

ALL spelling groups will complete the Year 3 Jumping Orange words this week!

Week 7 spellings – Jumping Orange words

If you are unsure of the definition of a word, use a dictionary or online dictionary https://www.dictionary.com/ to find the meaning. You could use the meaning to help write a sentence to help learn them. This is great for handwriting practise too!

Remember you can also create a scribble spelling sheet one day to help you practise like this 

Year 3 Maths Summer Week 7

Hello Year 3’s

This is your final week of Year 3 Maths! We are super impressed with the efforts you have been putting into your maths!

This week’s maths is about measure, pictograms, bar charts and some games.

REMEMBER – try and practise your times tables on TTRS – I have set up tournaments. So get multiplying!!!!!

There are videos for each lesson followed by the activity sheets. Copy and paste the video link.  If you can’t print the sheets do not worry as you can just write out the calculations or answers on a piece of paper just as the sheets model.

Maths Summer Term 2 – week 5

This week’s maths is all about angles. You will be looking at 2D and 3D shapes, telling the time to 5minute intervals and then Friday Fluency.

Year 3 Literacy W/C 29th June

Hello Year 3’s .

We have been extremely impressed so far this half term with your literacy work, keep it up and remember you can blog once a week a photo to show use all your home learning as we look forward to seeing it!

For the last 3 weeks of summer term, literacy will look a little different. The powerpoint attached shows three/four tasks which can be done throughout the week. One task will be a Year 3 SPAG focus for you to include and use in the other tasks.
