We created our own compositions and then performed them. The progress within Year 6 and playing tricky pieces such as Rigadoon was fantastic to see!

We have looked at a variety of different types of stitch: running stitch, blanket and overstitch. Year 6 have shown amazing perseverance and their stockings are really taking shape.

Due to the unpredictable weather, please ensure that your children are appropriately dressed with a change of footwear (wellies or old trainers) in case of rain. We had lots of fun creating a timeline and we learned that it takes 450 years for a nappy to decompose! We also used hack saws to cut bamboo and create bug hotels.
