On Friday 31st March, year 3 will be going on a walk around the Newdale area looking at local land use. Please make sure your child brings a coat so they can keep warm.

Just a reminder that for P.E. children need plain black or navy shorts or jogging bottoms or plain black or navy leggings (no logos) and a plain, white t-shirt. They also need trainers and a navy blue / black jumper / fleece for outside P.E.

Sorry to hear that some of year 6 are isolating and unable to be in school at the moment. I know that lots of you will only have mild symptoms and may want some work to do while at home. I have uploaded some maths and spelling activities on to Google Classroom under ‘Work to complete while in isolation’ and will list other activities that you can complete below:

Year 6 PE this term will be on a Tuesday morning and a Thursday afternoon.

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Due to having PE on Friday afternoon, year 6 will be doing Halloween crafts/ activities on the afternoon of Thursday 21st September. Your child is welcome to bring a Halloween outfit with them which they will be allowed to change into for the afternoon. We will also be watching Wonder (linked to our class book) on Friday afternoon.

Good Morning Year 6
We are looking forward to welcoming you back to school on Monday.

PE will now take place on a Monday and Wednesday each week. If you are in Mrs Thomas’ class, you will have swimming on a Monday, so you will need to bring your swimming kit with you. If you are in Miss Clay’s class, you will have outdoor PE on a Monday so you can come to school wearing your PE kit.
PE on a Wednesday will be outdoors with Crossbar Coaching for all of year 6.
