What a fantastic first week in Year 1!

We are SO proud of all of our new Year 1 children! They have had a fantastic first week and are already so settled into their new classrooms and new routines! All of the children have absolutely loved being back and playing with their friends. You have really blown our socks off and we can’t wait to see you all back on Monday!

Year 1’s Sports Afternoon

Today, Year 1 enjoyed taking part in our mini sports day. We had a go at some fun races; including sack races, an egg and spoon race and even a crawling race under the army net!

A big WELL DONE to the stars of our Year 1 bubbles this week:

Frankie – for always trying his best and having a very grown up attitude to his work.

Erin – for having another fantastic week and great perseverance.

Year 1’s Obstacle Course

We all loved coming into school in our sporty clothes and fancy dress today. We took part in an obstacle course challenge this afternoon. We had lots of fun and got very competitive!

In Year 1, we have been experimenting with different shades. We used white paint to explore creating lighter shades. Take a look at how many different shades we created.
