Year 2 – After half term

After half term we will no longer be having our weekly forest school session therefore your child will not need to bring in their kit.  The children will now be taking part in music lessons with Mr Wilcox on a Wednesday.  Forest school sessions will resume in Spring term.

PE days will remain the same.

Monday – outdoor PE session

Thursday – indoor PE session

Please ensure your child comes to school in the correct PE kit.

Year 2 Nature Walk

We had a wet nature walk today but the children enjoyed it nonetheless!

We learnt about the different trees and plants that can be found in our local habitat.  We picked up a leaf or twig on our walk and when we got back to class we used the identification sheets to identify which tree the leaf had come from.
