2 years ago Posted on 29th Nov 2023 by Mr Banfield Thursday 30th November Outdoor Science Session Dear Parents/Carers, Tomorrow (30.11.23) we will have a session with the Shropshire Wildlife Trust which will take place outside on school grounds. We will be creating a willow tunnel, preparing our allotments for the winter and enjoying a forest school session. Please ensure that your child comes to school tomorrow with a warm coat, jumper and spare outdoor boots/shoes or old trainers. Thank you, The Year 3 Team

3 years ago Posted on 02nd Oct 2023 by Mr Banfield Creating Sedimentary Rock Today we used white and milk chocolate “sediment” as well as pressure to form a new sedimentary rock! The white chocolate represented seashells and bones while the milk chocolate symbolised sand, mud and other rocks. We pushed the layers of sediment together to create a solid mass of “rock” before eating.
