Our PE days

Mighty oaks have come back this term ready for the get, set go in their PE sessions with the sport coaches from cross bar, Mr Birch and Mr stone. These sessions take part on a Tuesday morning but no extra kit is needed. They have been learning lots of new skills and putting them into practice with new games. This week was all about underarm and over arm throwing and team games, which they loved called minions and bananas. At the end of each session the coaches choose the children they think have improved the most or listened to instructions really well. Here are this weeks winners. Well done everyone. ⭐️

Last post of 2021

A look back at our last week before we break up for the holidays. We started the week of by finishing our Christmas cards and decorations ready to go home, then we made party hats for the party just in time for the festive celebrations to begin. Where we played party games and ate party food, probably too much !

I’ll end this message with a big thank you though out yet another tough year due to restrictions, but I hope that you can see that we’ve tried our best to keep things running and as normal as possible for your children to attend and come along to a full filled learning environment and most importantly have fun.

Wishing you a merry Christmas and happy new year from us all here at the Newdale nursery.

He started the show of nicely with some nursery rhymes and began to make Bo peep a cake for her 4th birthday. Of course along the way he came across some cheeky characters like the mouse trying to steal away the ingredients.

Ask your children if they can remember parts of the show and the other puppets name’s, it was very funny. Thank you Rob for joining us today hope to see you again soon.

Please see the link below for a trailer of the show.
