Homework

Dear Parents/ carers,

It is incredibly important that the children are completing their homework.

Children should be completing:
Daily reading – this can be done online through Bug Club or using the school books which they can bring home.

Daily times tables/ spellings -. After Easter, weekly times table activities will resume in their homework books. Spellings will continue to be stuck into homework books.

Additional activity – this will be stuck into their homework books and will differ weekly.

As many children are losing their homework sheets, we will be asking them to stick everything in on a Monday when their book returns home.

Books will continue to be handed in on Friday and returned on a Monday after Easter.

Please can children bring their homework books in this Thursday so that Easter homework can be given to them.

Thank you for your support,

Year 5.

Happy Half Term

Whether you have been in school or working from home, you must be exhausted! We are so proud of how hard you have been working and thoroughly believe that a well-deserved rest is in order!

Remember to say thank you to your parents for helping you out with home learning tasks.

We are not setting any mandatory homework for over the half term but it is Chinese New Year tomorrow. We have put some related activities onto Google Classroom for you to look at (with special guest Mr Wilcox) if you find time! Remember that we will be working on those Jumping Orange words after half term so keep plugging away at them if you can.

For now, catch up on sleep, spend time with family and get outside into nature as much as you can!

Art Day

We are having a great tIme doing arty activities in school. Here are just a few examples of our observational drawings. We used mirrors or photos to help us closely observe our own eyes.
