Year 1 Autumn 1- What are we learning about this half term

PE and Outdoor learning

In Year 1, we have PE on Tuesday and Friday for the Autumn Term . Please ensure your child comes to school dressed in the correct PE kit on these days.

We will start Forest School later in the term.

Maths 

By the end of Year 1, your child is expected to know:

– the number bonds which make 5, 10 and 20

– one more and one less for numbers up to 100

– reading and writing numbers as numerals to 100 and words to 20

– doubles and halves to 20

– how to count in 2s, 5s and 10s
