Spring 1- What are we learning about this half term

PE and Outdoor learning

In Year 1, we have PE on Wednesday and Thursday for the Spring Term . Please ensure your child comes to school dressed in the correct PE kit on these days.

Forest School will be on a Friday in the Spring Term.

Maths 

By the end of Year 1, your child is expected to know:

– the number bonds which make 5, 10 and 20

– one more and one less for numbers up to 100

– reading and writing numbers as numerals to 100 and words to 20

– doubles and halves to 20

– how to count in 2s, 5s and 10s
