Welcome to Year 4

Mr Jackson, Mrs Clarke, Mr Bevan and I are all looking forward to meeting our new classes in September.

Please click on the PDF document for Y4 key information: Y4 Information for September 2020

We hope that you are all keeping well and have enjoyed your summer holiday as much as possible considering our current circumstances.

Many thanks

The Y4 Team :-)

A message from your teachers :-)

Hello Year 4,

The Year 4 team would like to wish you all a lovely summer. Although our year was unfortunately cut short, we have all thoroughly enjoyed working with every single one of you. We will miss you all lots but cannot wait to see you around school in September and hear wonderful things about how well you will all be doing in Year 5.

Best wishes,

Miss Macfarlane, Mrs Jackson, Mrs H and Mr Bevan 😊

Religious Education Themed Week

In the autumn term, the children all learnt about Sikhism. In the spring term, the children all learnt about Christianity. Due to school closure, teachers were unable to teach our summer term Islamic unit to the children.  Therefore, the final themed week for the summer term will be based on our whole school unit on Islam. Please click on the PDF to find out activities you can take part in with your child/children.

Themed week – Islam

Hello Year 4

Hi Year 4,

All the Year 4 adults are all so proud of the wonderful home learning which we’ve seen on the website, on Purple Mash and via email.

Please remember to email us on Purple Mash (or the Year 4 email) to let us know how you’re getting on. We love hearing from you.

Take care

Miss Macfarlane, Mr Jackson, Mrs H and Mr Bevan :-)

Well Done Y4

Well done Year 4 for continuing to work hard at home.

As Mr Jackson will now also be in school teaching key worker children each day, please can parents contact their child’s teacher if they have any issues/questions, rather than just Mr Jackson as you were advised to over the last two weeks.

Have a lovely week,

The Year 4 team.

Y4 Celebrations

Hi Y4,

Mrs H and I have continued to enjoy looking at your wonderful work this week.

Our special shout-outs this week go to:

Zoheb for regularly completing work on Purple Mash.

Ella’s charity work.

Niamh’s dedication towards her maths.

Cody for trying hard when completing Purple Mash activities.

Of course we are proud of every single one of you. Well done on having another great week of home learning.

Have a lovely weekend and half term.

Miss Macfarlane and Mrs H

Science Week

Well done to those children who completed work/activities linked to our ‘Citizenship Week’ last week.

This week’s theme is Science.

Have fun!

Well Done Ella & Ethan

We are all very proud of Ella and Ethan for completing a ‘trampoline-athon’ last Saturday.  In total, they raised £170 for the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Trust.

Ella, who is in Year 4, said that, “We did this to help everyone at the hospital. Not just for the doctors and nurses it’s for everyone the NHS including my daddy. They are all working really hard as always but they need this so much at this time.”❤️
