Year 6 SATs Revision

Dear Parents/Carers,

A number of resources have now been uploaded onto Google Classroom to support your child with additional revision in preparation for SATs week, which is the week commencing 9th May 2022. These resources include support for Spelling, Reading and Maths.

Please encourage your child to access these resources from now until SATs week, as well as to continue to complete their homework and access Read Theory when outside of school each week. These resources are a valuable revision tool for your child during the Easter holidays, should they wish to complete some additional preparation.

Thank you for your continued co-operation.

The Year 6 Team.

Year 6 Homework 14.12.20

Hi Year 6

Please find attached the homework for this week. If you can, this needs to be completed on Google Classroom. If you are struggling to do this, you can do the work directly into your homework books. This homework will be due in on the first day back after the Christmas holidays.

Autumn 2 Week 7

If you are using an ipad to log on to Google Classroom, please try going through the web browser rather than the app- you should then be able to log on and see the work. Once the work is there, by double tapping the boxes, you should be able to write in them.

Any problems, please speak to your class teacher.

Many thanks

Year 6 Homework

Hi Year 6

Starting from this week, you will now find your weekly homework on Google Classroom. We feel this is a great opportunity for you to get used to using the learning platform and it will help us to see who is unable to complete work online. If you do not have access to the internet or an online device, then we can print out paper copies of homework as normal.

You will be able to complete the spelling activity online  (via the wooksheet we have uploaded)  and you can use your homework books to make note of any answers for the maths activity.

Many thanks

Year 6- work for the week beginning 20/4/20

Hi Year 6

We hope you had an enjoyable Easter break and ate plenty of chocolate eggs!
Your work this week is on Purple Mash. Mrs Thomas and I have set you all a number of tasks: there is a fast 10 for each day and some literacy based activities which we will add to every day, so try to keep on top of this work. In addition to this, please continue to use Read Theory and TTRS.

As a school, we have decided to run subject themed weeks for you to have a go at in the afternoons and this week is Art. Please see Miss Hailey’s post below for a range of activities you can complete. Please upload your pieces on to the school blog because we’d love to see them!

If you are unable to use Purple Mash and would prefer for Mrs T or I to send you some paper based work electronically, please email us and we will send some work over.

Have fun!

Miss C and Mrs T

Year 6- Friday’s work!

The final pieces of work for this week are below. Mrs T will upload a couple of activities on to Purplemash today for those of you who want to do them over the next two weeks. Other than that, please go on Read Theory as often as you can. Have fun and enjoy the Easter holidays! We are very proud of how so many of you have adapted to working from home- well done!
