Hello Reception,

We all hope you have been enjoying the lovely sunshine and that you have been working hard on the tasks we set you for today.

I have seen some fantastic Evidence Me observations and blog posts made by your families showing you doing some super work. Keep it up we love seeing them :)

Hello all. We hope you are keeping safe and well. We have a devised a plan that is similar to our timetable in school. Please find the plan of the day and the resources you may need. If you prefer your child to record it in a different way then please do not feel you have to use what we have provided. We cant wait to see some of your work. If you have any problems accessing it then do get in touch via the email.

Free PE workouts from home

Join me every day next week for a home workout 😀
Starting Monday 23rd March I’m going to be hosting a free workout aimed at kids LIVE on my YouTube channel.

With the schools closed and with us all spending more time at home, it’s more important than ever that we keep moving and stay healthy and positive.

Exercise is an amazing tool to help us feel happier, more energised, and more optimistic.

The workouts will be fun and suitable for all ages and even adults can get involved.

You don’t need any equipment, just tune in to my YouTube channel at 9am each morning for a 30-minute, fun workout.

One more thing! I really need your help to spread this message. So please please share this with everyone that might like to get involved, and together we can help keep the nation moving 🙏🏻

As a school we subscribe to Picture News. At the moment we are lucky to be trialling the new EYFS picture news resources. Reception Timetable

Dear Parents and Carers. Please find attached a timetable for you to work from over the next few weeks. We will be sending out daily updates with the daily activities for you all. Children in the early years learn through play as well as the focused activities we do in class. During an afternoon in Reception we have child initiated time. This is where the children are able to choose their own activities and learn by playing and exploring their own ideas. Please feel free to send us evidence using the Evidence Me App or via the blog. Don’t forget the email too if you need any help at home. We have also included the 100 things to do inside grid for ideas to do in the afternoon.

Year R and Year 1 Information

You may have seen advice that children can communicate with their teacher through the PurpleMash email facilities. We have decided, however that for the youngest children in school it would be more appropriate for parents to email their child’s class teacher directly through our new Year 1 and Year R email addresses. These have been set up so that should you have any questions you can ask us on your child’s behalf, or if you want to share any work this way, that would be great too.

Purplemash can still be used for all the amazing online resources it offers (your child has their login in their reading diaries) and we will be setting 2Do tasks on there too, so do please keep using it.
