It’s that time of year again where slapped cheeks signs and symptoms can show themselves to appear and look like a common cold. I’ve popped on the link for you all to see. Just be mindful of the young, vulnerable, elderly, and pregnant.

Grandparents come to celebrate harvest

Thank you to all that attended our grandparents Autumn harvest sing along.
It was lovely seeing you all and having a chat. We hope you enjoyed the singing, they’ve worked so hard on practicing.

Ladybugs

Ladybugs have been learning about harvest ‘what’s a scarecrow?’ ‘Why are they on the farm?’ 🚜
They have been thrilled to learn an array of different songs that link to harvest and have explored lots of vegetables and natural materials linking to the celebration 🍁
We have done lots of sharing and our ladybug puppet has made an appearance to ensure the children are using kind hands 🙂

We got to meet the nursery Guinea pigs on Friday afternoon and the children did so well using their gentle hands 🖐️

Great week little ladybugs, your growing in confidence and showing some lovely skills and abilities to build relationships ☺️

Mighty Oaks

Week 1
Our new starters in Mighty Oaks have settled in beautifully, embracing their new environment with curiosity and joy. The recently developed Woodland-themed areas have sparked their imaginations, offering rich opportunities for exploration and play. From discovering hidden corners beneath leafy canopies to building stories around the woodland creatures, the children have shown great enthusiasm and confidence. A particular highlight has been welcoming the new squirrel family into their charming woodland home—an exciting addition to our setting that has captured everyone’s attention and added a touch of magic to our days in Mighty Oaks.
Let’s take a peek into their week with some snap shots
Book of the week was ” who are you ” by Smriti Halls
