Today we were extremely lucky for one of the parents to visit our school with his fire engine and two other firemen.
They talked to us about the role of a fireman or woman and the equipment they use. We even got to have a go at squirting water from the hoses and a sit in the fire engine.

Today we had lots of fun looking for objects in our scavenger hunt and made some pictures using natural materials.

This afternoon we spent our forest school session in base camp.
We had great fun taking part in a nature eye spy game, completing a winter checklist and making nature picture frames.

This week we have been doing lots of addition. The children know the number will get bigger and they can use the numicon to add the 2 quantities together.
