This week we have dodged the rain as best we could to fit in the super fun sports days! We continue to look for a break in the weather to it in our year 5 and 6 children next week. Year 3 enjoyed a wonderful day at Attingham Park, and Year 4 children were treated to a day at Go Ape. We also welcomed some HLC French students into school to support the Year 5 children.
Finally, we finished the week with Art Day – the children have produced some fantastic pieces of art and we can’t wait to proudly display them around school. We were also fortunate to have local artist Robert Leckey working with groups of children throughout the day to create, ‘A starry night over the Rock,’ as well as a watercolour paint workshop in year 5 from local artist Lynn Bush.
