Hello all. We hope you are still safe and well. Please find attached the activities for Wednesday.

We have loved seeing all your work from home so thank you for sharing. If you haven’t got a balloon for the outdoor activity perhaps you could use a ball instead.

Keep up the fantastic work.

Scam Emails

We wanted to make you aware of a scam which effects families who are eligible for free school meals. The following extract has been taken from an official Government website that was updated today –

Be aware of scam emails

We have been informed that some parents have received an email stating the following: ‘As schools will be closing, if you’re entitled to free school meals, please send your bank details and we’ll make sure you’re supported’.

We can confirm that this is a scam email and is not official. We urge parents that if you receive any emails like this, please do not respond, and delete it immediately.

Reception Home Learning Thursday 26th March

Hi Reception children and adults

You have been working so hard at home and we are all so proud of you. Please keep sharing your fantastic work and learning with us as we love to know how you are getting on and that you are all ok. If you are lucky enough to have some yummy fruit at home perhaps the children could help you cut it up and make a fruit salad. This will help them to describe the fruit when they are writing their sentences.

Information for the parents of children with SEND

Please see the following message from Vicky Ford MP for the parents of children with SEND, particularly those that have an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP).

As ever, the document is asking Parents to consider whether their child’s needs can be met at home safely. This is to keep as many children as possible at home during this time to help reduce the transmission rates of Covid 19.

More phonics support…

We hope you are finding Miss Hammond’s videos helpful, along with the Read, Write, Inc videos we advertised yesterday.

Another fantastic help in this difficult time is provided by the website: https://new.phonicsplay.co.uk/

Your child will be familiar with some of their games. They are now providing FREE games.
