Nursery Summer Fun

On Wednesday 20th July, we would like to invite parents/carers into nursery for a drink and biscuits to mark the end of term and give you opportunity for you to play with your child in nursery and share their favourite activities with you.

Timings: 10.30am -11.15am for the morning session and 2.15pm -3.00pm for the afternoon session. If your child attends all day you are welcome to attend either of the visit times. Children who don’t normally attend on a Wednesday are welcome to join us with their parents/carers.

Please use the normal nursery entrances and not the reception entrance. Sorry, no mobile phones will be allowed in the nursery.

Morning reception induction – Nursery lunches

Nursery children who normally stay for lunch on a Tuesday and are attending the reception induction day tomorrow morning. If they are returning to nursery for their afternoon session and require a hot lunch, please let Mrs Steele in the office know.

School Fayre – Tuesday 28th June

The nursery will be having a dress down day on Monday 27th June to help support the school fayre. Please could we kindly ask for a contribution of a cake to sell on the ‘Nursery Cake Stall’. The fayre will be held on Tuesday 28th June at 3.30pm, looking forward to seeing you there !

Starting School?

The closing date for applying for a reception place to start September 2022 is 15th January 2022.

Please apply via www.telford.gov.uk/admissions

You must apply if your child was born between 1 September 2017 – 31 August 2018.
You must apply even if your child is attending a nursery or pre-school on a school site or you have a child already attending the school.
attending a nursery does not guarantee a school place.
School places are allocated in line with oversubscription criteria.

ASC/Nursery Invoices

Good Afternoon,

Unfortunately we are having issues logging into our online banking. We have been told this should be resolved within ten working days. Online payments made into the ASC/Nursery account in December can not be accessed by us therefore we are unable to credit payments onto the January invoices. This months invoices will be printed in mid January.

If you would like to make a payment before you receive Januarys invoice you are welcome to ring the office where we will be able to tell you how much your child’s/children’s fees for this month will be.

Parents who pay by child care vouchers are not affected and will receive their invoice on time.

Winter Wonderland

Dear Parents/Carers,

It was so lovely to actually get out in our Winter Wonderland today.

As you can see, I was having a marvellous time too with Alan the Christmas bear!

The children just love someone from their family coming to school, so they can show off what they do and the environments they have.

The weather has been a real challenge, but in true Newdale style, we have not been defeated! If your child’s event was postponed due to the vile weather, you will now know of the rescheduled date and time.

If the weather deteriorates again, we will move to our hall plan b.

Just a reminder about footwear. Basecamp is rather muddy/slippery and hence sturdy shoes or wellies are recommended!

Nursery Winter Wonderland – Tuesday 7th December

On Tuesday 7th December the Nursery children will be visiting the school Winter Wonderland. One adult per child is welcome to come along and enjoy the occasion, hot chocolate will be served (please bring along your own cup). The visit slots will last for half an hour.

Timings for Mighty Oaks:

9.15 am Blue Group ( Mrs Curnow) and Yellow Group (Mrs Turner)

10.00 am Purple Group (Mrs Ferriday) and Green Group (Mrs Hall)

2.00 pm Red Group (Mrs Giordano) and Orange Group (Miss Preston)
