Mighty Oaks this week have been so busy! We have really enjoyed our science week doing lots different experiments. Our volcanoes were a super success, giant explosion that really surprised the children as they predicted it would blow up so high. We were lucky to have some fantastic jelly rocks, that changed over time with water , they grew so big and the children had lots of fun feeling and playing with them especially with the new grabbers we had.
Cooking this week Red and Purple Group made fruit lolly pops, this really tested their fine motor skills, as we left them to chop and mush the fruit all by themselves. Then we added a little bit of ice cream ready to freeze. They then had them the next day for snack. Yummy 😋
They’ve been in the forest school area exploring the natural wildlife and climbing on the equipment. As you can see they are very creative in building their own ideas for climbing and sliding on. I hear their little picnic up there was quite a treat, but they deserve it, they have worked so hard.
