Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to take this opportunity to clarify our arrangements for After School Club bookings and charges.
As you know After School Club places are booked in advance, with a two week notice period to change or cancel sessions. Once a place has been reserved, that space is held specifically for your child and staffing levels are planned accordingly. As a result, charges apply for all booked sessions, regardless of whether a child attends.
This includes occasions where a child is participating in another school-based activity, such as football, a sporting event, a music club, a performance, or any other enrichment opportunity. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer deductions or refunds for these sessions, as individual spaces cannot usually be filled at short notice and staffing costs remain unchanged.
To ensure fairness and consistency for all families, we therefore ask that parents consider any other regular commitments before confirming their After School Club bookings.
The only exception to this arrangement is for children who are regular After School Club attendees, but are away on the school’s Arthog residential visit. In these circumstances, charges for the relevant sessions will be adjusted accordingly.
