Year 6 Leaver’s Party

With the end of the school year fast approaching, we are excited to share information with you regarding the Year 6 Leaver’s Party. Different to our usual end of year celebrations, the children this year voted unanimously to have this event instead of our usual end of year production. This fun-filled event will take place on the last day of term, Friday 18th July 2025, from 1.15pm until 3.10pm; it will include music, food, games, photo opportunities, inflatables, nerf wars and much more! We invite two adults per child to join us on this occasion for a contribution of £2 per ticket (see Parentpay for further details), which will support the funding of the activities that have been heavily subsidised by school. We look forward to seeing you there!

Year 6 Museum Workshops

Year 6 have had a brilliant day taking part in workshops from Shrewsbury Museum. They discovered about the life of Charles Darwin and how animals have adapted and changed over time.

In their Ancient Greek workshop, the children explored artefacts including drinking glasses, jewellery and arrow heads. Later, the children discovered the history of the Olympic games and battle between Athens and Sparta.

Year 6 had a fabulous afternoon on Friday taking part in their inter-house competition to celebrate the end of their SATs.

Well done to all who took part and especially to Ironbridge girls and boys who both took first place!

SATs Week Success!

We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 children for their hard work, resilience, and determination in completing their SATs this week. They have shown dedication, perseverance, and a positive attitude throughout, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they have achieved. Well done to each and every one of them!
