We are going on a park hunt

Year 1  enjoyed their park hunt this afternoon. We will be writing about our adventure tomorrow. Thank you for behaving so well and for listening so carefully.
We even cooled with an ice lolly after.

Y6 End of Year Reports/SATs Results

Dear Parents/Carers,

We would like to inform you of a change to the release date of this year’s Key Stage 2 SATs results.

The results were originally due to be sent to schools on Tuesday 7th July 2026, which would have allowed our Year 6 teachers sufficient time to include them in your child’s end-of-year report, due to be sent home on Friday 10th July 2026.

However, we have just been notified that the results have been delayed nationally and will not be available to schools until Thursday 16th July 2026. As a result, we are unfortunately unable to include the SATs outcomes in reports as planned.

This means that your child’s Year 6 report will be issued one week later than originally scheduled. Year 6 reports will now be given out on Thursday 16th July 2026.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Unfortunately, this delay is beyond the school’s control. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Many thanks,

Miss Cook

Helping Year 6 Pupils Prepare for Secondary School Travel – Arriva’s Student Saver Tickets

As your Year 6 pupils prepare to move on to secondary school, we know that many of them will be catching the bus to school for the first time. To help make that transition easier and more affordable, we’d like to let you know about the Arriva Bus travel options available for the 2026/27 school year.

Arriva’s Student and Child Saver tickets are designed to help students save on their daily commute to school. These tickets offer unlimited travel before and after school, on weekends, and during school holidays, so students can travel confidently throughout the year.

For families’ convenience, we offer an easy‑to‑use Direct Debit system to spread the cost of these tickets over affordable monthly payments. There’s no setup fee, no minimum contract, and families can cancel at any time if their circumstances change.

We’ve attached a flyer with more details about the scheme.

Thank you for helping us support your students and their families as they move on to secondary school.
