Year 6 – Ancient Greece Workshop

Today, Year 6 enjoyed our workshop about Ancient Greece. We examined artefacts and learned how they were used; we even pretended to be archaeologists, uncovering broken artefacts and piecing them together to identify the original items and their purpose.  Taking on the identity of Ancient Greeks, we emulated the Spartan and Athenian societies before choosing which city state we preferred to live in. Finally, we learned about the Olympics and identified how mystery items were used in different sports.

Summer 1 in Year 2

We loved last half term! It was packed full of outdoor adventures, painting, incredible writing and an extra special visit from Florence Nightingale.

We hope you heard lots about it at home and that children can’t wait for the summer term ahead! Here is what we will be learning about…

Just a reminder: PE days are staying the same but we no longer have outdoor learning on Fridays (so no need to bring a change of clothes or wellies).
