Here at Mighty Oaks we have been so busy doing lots of different activities. We have been painting rocks to go in the garden. Getting ready for Father’s Day by making cards and gifts. We even had time to get physical in the big hall.

Red group and Purple group this week have been very busy making bird feeders and volcanos. We have tidied the garden up and noticed how many different birds visit us. We made bird feeders out of bottles and moulds for them to have yummy treats. The children have really enjoyed finding out the birds names from our poster outside.

Then for wonderful Wednesday cooking we made volcanoes from ice cream cones, biscuits and yummy sweet treats. The children have been researching volcanoes ready for our science week next week.

Over the last few weeks orange group have been working really hard with their maths and their writing. Here are a few pictures of the work we have been doing. Orange group children are so proud of their work and rightly so :).

Mighty oaks this week are enjoying playing outside. All the rain has not stopped our play. As you can see your children are having fun being ever so busy. We are all sending our well wishes to friends at home.
