Half Term

A big well done to all our Reception super stars for a wonderful half term. You and your families have been working so hard and we could not be prouder. We have thoroughly enjoyed looking at all your fantastic work and love to hear that you are safe and well. We think that you all deserve a well-earned break over the next week so we want you to spend as much time as possible having fun and playing games with your families. We hope you have fun enjoying the beautiful weather.

If you are looking for something to do (these are of course optional) then why not try some of the 100 things to do inside or 30 things to do outside while social distancing activities.

Reception Home Learning Monday 18th May

Hi all. We hope you have all had a lovely weekend. This week we will be looking at the story ‘Oi Frog’ which is a rhyming story. We hope you have lots of fun completing these activities. Thank you again for sharing all of your wonderful work. We are so proud of you all.

Hello Reception,

Here is your picture news for this week. I would have enjoyed doing this one in school with you. It’s all about homes.

Here are your activity ideas and resources below. I love the design a new room for your home task. If I was designing a new room for my home I would put a ball pit and slide in there for my little boy, a cinema screen to watch our favourite films and a gym so I can keep fit from home.

We would love to see some of your ideas.

Free School Meals Update

The Department for Education have confirmed that it will not be providing Free School Meal vouchers for the May half term holiday week (25th May – 29th May). This will also be the case for any future school holidays as they are not normally provided during these times.

Vouchers have been ordered for next week and will be delivered from Monday (please note this may be later in the week).

We will inform you of how free school meals will be issued after half term once we have more information from the Department for Education or Local Authority.
