Halloween event

On 22nd October, we will be inviting your children to either dress down or wear Halloween fancy dress. We would like them to bring their costume in a bag to change into – they will need to wear school uniform before then. Please do not send in face paints, as we are not able to apply it for them. Due to restrictions, our teachers are planning lots of exciting activities that they can carry out in their classes, including Halloween arts and crafts. If your child chooses to bring in a costume on that day, please can any Halloween themed props be left at home e.g hats and masks are fine to bring in.

Height and weight checks for children in Year 6

Every year in England, school children in Year 6 have their height and weight checked at school as part of the National Child Measurement Programme. Height and weight measurements are used to calculate weight status. We collect this information because it is in the public interest to understand how many children are overweight, healthy weight or underweight, and it also provides parents with information on the health of their children. Your child’s class will take part in this year’s programme. If you wouldn’t want your child taking part in this programme, please return the form that your child will bring home home today.

Please click on the link below to view more details.

27.9.21 Forgotten kit

Dear Parents/Carers,

We know it is early days and that children and parents are trying to get used to the new timetables.

Please could you double check on your child’s class website page, so that you are sure as to the correct kit needed on the correct day.

This would really help the office team, as they do seem to be spending a lot of time dropping off kit to differing classes at the moment.

Many thanks,

Miss Cook
