Following on from our successful Family BBQ Lunch we have decided to continue these events with a Fish & Chip Family Lunch on Tuesday 15th November (as mentioned in our recent Key Dates).

The Fish & Chip Lunch is available for all children to buy as a normal school lunch; you may also buy an adult version for £3.00 – BARGAIN! You are welcome to bring younger children; a Fish & Chip Lunch will cost them £2.45. If Fish & Chips isn’t your favourite then why not join in by bringing your own packed lunch!

Menu

Fish & Chips with baked beans or peas

Vegetarian Quorn dippers (v)

Salad Bar

Chocolate Crunch, cookies or cupcakes

All for the bargain price of £3.00!

We need to know in advance if you would like to attend and buy lunches. We also require a non-refundable payment along with your Fish & Chip Family lunch request. Do not include children who come to school, as they will need to order and pay in the usual way.

Family Lunch starts from 11.45am (nursery 11.20am) and continues until 1pm when children will go back into class.

Please log on to ParentPay to book and pay for meals. Meals need to be ordered no later than Tuesday 8th November.

It will also be a chance for your children to share the work that they are doing in class and show you around school.

We apologise in advance for any queues that may build up. Our kitchen team try their best to serve up as quickly as they can!

Please do join us!

Harvest

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we originally posted out at the beginning of October, this year for Harvest, we are collecting as usual. In the spirit of supporting our immediate community, we have decided that we want to support our own school community in these times of ever-increasing cost of living for everyone.

We will be collecting non-perishable donations (tins of food, toilet rolls, toiletries etc.) for a ‘give and take’ bank – hence the name GATEway (Give And TakE)!

With the contributions that are generously shared by families, staff and governors, we will be setting up a regularly replenished box of non-perishable items – into which you can add items (box 1) if you can; or take items (box 2) should you need. These boxes will be outside the main office in the parent shelter.

If you can give something, please add it to the box. The box will be based on trust and not manned, and we are very much hoping that it may support those in need as we move into the winter months and while the cost of living is ever more.

Our project will begin with a Harvest Dress Down Day which will take place on Thursday 3rd November. Children can come in their own clothes in return for a donation.

The Gateway bank will begin to be operational from Monday 7th November when you can bring additional items / take items from the ‘Give and Take’ boxes.

Thank you in advance for your support.
