Share Aware Week- W/B: Tuesday 7th January 2020

We are writing this letter to inform you of a whole school learning project around keeping safe online. Over the week we will be looking specifically at sharing information online using materials provided by the NSPCC. It is important that children are made aware that sometimes sharing online can be dangerous.

Across Year 1 and 2 we will be looking at how the internet is an amazing thing when used safely and correctly. We will look at 7 simple rules that will help make sure we can stay safe online.

Throughout these sessions children will be encouraged to speak out to a trusted adult if they are ever unsure about something whilst online.

If you wish to discuss the content of these sessions further, please talk to your child’s teacher.
