Special Visitors to Newdale! 🎅 🌲

Reception were so excited to see their special guest was in fact Mrs Christmas and Santa himself today!
Mrs Christmas read us a lovely Christmas story. It was making Santa sleepy. We saw her special mince pie mix, and even made some Christmas wishes.
We were even lucky enough to each receive a little gift from them to take home.
Such a special treat to end the week. Have a lovely weekend.

Up to date contact details

If you have changed your contact details recently, please can you let the school office know on 01952 387720. It is very important that school have your up to date details especially mobile numbers in case we have to contact you over the Christmas holidays (please see ‘important information for the Christmas holiday’ post).

Cancelled Forest School Session: Monday 14th December

On Monday 14th December Reception will not be having Forest School so will not require their kit. This is due to the flu immunisations.

Miss Hailey’s Star of the Week!

Congratulations to Olivia who is Star of the Week in our class this week.

She has been chosen for always being kind and friendly. She always works so hard too every single day! A super achievement that we are so proud of.

Christmas Jumper Days in school

A couple more dates have been added for all children to wear their Christmas jumpers. Please see all dates below;

Friday 11th December- visit from Mr and Mrs Clause (surprise visit- children do not know about this yet)

Monday 14th Dec- Polar Express Day (surprise treat- children do not know about this yet)

On individual years Christmas Dinner Days (see school/ class news for details)

Friday 18th December – last day of term

Polar Express- Whole school event

Monday 14th December
All aboard ‘The Newdale Express’

As the part of the Christmas celebrations, children will be watching the film- ‘The Polar Express’(U rating)

During the film, children will be served hot chocolate and Cookies.
(any dietary needs have been taken into account).

Children can come wearing Christmas tops.

Christmas Festivities

Hi all. Reception will be taking part in a range of Christmas Festivities over the next few weeks.

On Wednesday 9th December it is Christmas Dinner Day. Children are welcome to wear their own Christmas Jumper on this day.

In addition to this please can we ask that on Friday 11th, Monday 14th and Wednesday 16th of December children bring in a hat and scarf to wear.
