    31 August 2017.
  • You must apply even if your child is attending a nursery or pre-school
on a school site or you have a child already attending the school.
  •  Attending a nursery does not guarantee a school place.
  • If a child has an Education, Health & Care Plan the closing date is 31 October 2020 for all applications.
  • School places are allocated in line with oversubscription criteria.
  • See website for more information www.telford.gov.uk/admissions or contact School Admissions at admissions@telford.gov.uk

Construction time

Here in nursery red and purple group have been using the real tools and measuring tapes on our hand made work bench gifted to us by the wonderful Mr Thomas. We had so much fun remembering to keep ourselves and our tools safe. With the pieces the children cut and drilled we are making a model house. We’ve taken the inspiration from the work men that are building houses next to the nursery.

Splashing!

We’ve had fun in base camp splashing in the puddles. Autumn is definitely here! Can you find some puddles at home? Please share any splashy fun with us on the parent share app.

More builders at work

The children have now been challenged to build houses for animals too. Can you find any duplo, old boxes and toy animals or teddies to build homes for?

Animal homes

Builders in nursery

As many of you know our theme this term is “Homes” which is inspired by all the building work going on next to nursery. Our children have been set the challenge to build their own homes using a variety of resources. Here’s one example from today. Can you please encourage your child to build at home, perhaps a den made of old sheets or some wooden blocks? Please share your creations on parent share with us.

Busy builders!

Nursery phonics challenge

We are concentrating hard at the moment on developing the listening skills needed to ensure that we will be able to differentiate sounds.  Please can you support this at home by using the website phonics play.  On this site just add the user name: march20 and the password: home.  Then select the phase 1 game “Welcome to the zoo”.  Please begin by meeting the animals, can your child name the animals and predict the sound they might make?  You can then move on to the main game in which they guess which animal is being delivered to the zoo.

Have fun!
