Welcome back and P.E

Hello Everyone.

I hope you have all had a relaxing break over half term and we look forward to seeing you all tomorrow. Just a reminder that P.E days will be remaining as indoor on Mondays and outdoor on Thursdays.

Many Thanks

The Year 4 Team.

Update 18.02.2022

Dear Parents/Carers,

We cannot believe it is the end of another half term already!

It is such a relief that our Covid figures have plummeted. The teams at Newdale have worked incredibly hard in making sure that classes remain operational.

We know how difficult it is for children and parents when we have to resort to online learning.

We are feeling really positive about next half term and hope we can begin to reintroduce many of the activities that we had to postpone due to the risks of infection.

I will be reviewing our risk assessments linked to Covid over half term and of course keeping an eye out on local and national advice.

Thank you for your ongoing support and we all wish you a great half term.

Parent View Reminder

Share your views through Parent View

Parents and carers can give their views of our school at any time of the school year and at the time of a school inspection using an online questionnaire called Parent View.

Please register with an email address and a password at http://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk

Once your login has been activated, it only takes a few minutes to complete answers to short questions about different aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.

Your views are important in helping inspectors make a decision about our school, and to help us know what is going well and what could be improved. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about your child’s school. It is all anonymous.
If you do not have internet access or would like help to use Parent View, please ask at the school office or the pastoral team.

We really do appreciate you spending a few minutes completing this survey. It will hopefully help us all work together in making sure Newdale is again recognised for the fantastic work that goes on for your children.

Kind regards

Miss Cook

Parent View Request

14.2.22

Dear Parents/Carers,

As you know, we regularly want to know your views about our school and we use these views to help us shape the way in which we provide a first-class education to your children. Every comment on the surveys that we send out to you is read and discussed thoroughly by the team.  Recently our School Improvement Adviser congratulated us on how well we consult with children and parents.

OFSTED also want to know what you think about our school. They do this by asking you to complete Parent View online. This questionnaire captures your views prior to an inspection, but it can also be used by us to see what you think about our school at any point during the year. As you hopefully know, we were last judged by Ofsted in June 2017 as ‘outstanding’. We continue to be very proud of this judgement and ever since the inspection, we have all been working very hard to live up to our title. We hope you recognise that we have prioritised the education of your children over the last 2 years whilst battling with extreme Covid challenges along the way. We do not know when Ofsted will come knocking on our door again, but what can assure you is that we welcome them anytime, as Newdale does not go up a gear in fear of an inspection, we are in top gear all of the time!
