Grandparents Tea Party ☕️ 🍰

Thank you to all of the grandparents who could attend our tea party this afternoon. The children loved spending some time playing games and reading stories with you all.

World Book Day in Year 1 📚

We have had a fantastic time today; sharing our costumes and favourite stories with our friends, describing our characters and listening to lots of lovely stories! We even met up with Year 5 to do some buddy reading. 🙂 📘

Year 1 World Book Day

Wow! The costumes looked amazing today, so thank you for the huge effort at home. The children have been having a lovely morning sharing books, writing character descriptions, playing “Guess the book” and talking about who they like to read with.

Year 1 Food Tasting

As part of our British values week, year 1 took part in an Indian food tasting session! They sampled samosa, bhaji, naan bread, mango chutney to name but a few. The children really enjoyed the session finding new foods really tasty. Which was your favourite?

A big thank you to Guransh’s mum for preparing some of the most delicious dishes.
