If you are unsure of the definition of a word, use a dictionary or online dictionary https://www.dictionary.com/ to find the meaning. You could use the meaning to help write a sentence to help learn them.

Remember you can also create a scribble spelling sheet one day to help you practise like this

Year 3 Summer Week 3 MATHS

Maths Summer Term 2 – week 3

This week’s maths is all about measure. You will be measuring length, converting measures, adding and subtracting lengths and then Friday Fluency.

REMEMBER – try and practise your times tables on TTRS – I have set up tournaments. So get multiplying!!!!!

There are videos for each lesson followed by the activity sheets. Copy and paste the video link.  If you can’t print the sheets do not worry as you can just write out the calculations or answers on a piece of paper just as the sheets model.

Year 1 Super Stars ⭐️⭐️

What another fantastic week in Year 1! The children have continued to work hard and have really impressed us with their determination. A special shout out to these children:

⭐️ Frankie for a fantastic effort all week, especially in Maths.

⭐️ Corben for a fantastic week and for starting to get to school on time.

⭐️ Jean for working hard in Maths, to count in 2s, 5s and 10s.

⭐️ Tayla for being an absolute star and a super friend to others.

Well done everyone!

Another week of hard work in Year 1a! 🙂

We are, again, so proud of all of the hard work that the pupils in Year 1 have been doing this week. As it has been outdoor learning week this week, we decided to take our Art lesson outside. We created some wonderful pictures with things we could find in nature. We finished our work on Jack and the Beanstalk this week by making our very own finger puppets. We used our puppets to tell the story in great detail! 🙂

Well Done Y4

Well done Year 4 for continuing to work hard at home.

As Mr Jackson will now also be in school teaching key worker children each day, please can parents contact their child’s teacher if they have any issues/questions, rather than just Mr Jackson as you were advised to over the last two weeks.

Have a lovely week,

The Year 4 team.
