Home learning for children who are isolating

If your child is isolating, please see below for ideas for their home learning. Please note that online lessons are not running as teachers will be teaching lessons in the classroom to the rest of the class.

  • Complete spellings (these should be on the website).
  • Practise times tables
  • Play on TTRS
  • Read daily and record in diaries. Remember your child can read online books on Fiction Express and Bug Club.
  • Play on Spelling Shed.

Your child’s logins are located in their diary. If you do not have access to this, please send an email to the Y4 email address.

Many thanks,

The Y4 Team

Y4 Langar Experience

As part of our RE topic on Sikhism, we created a Langar, which is a community kitchen inside a Gurdwara, in our classrooms. We even made a vegetable curry and shared this together. Ask your child what they learnt about why people sit in rows. See if they can tell you or even show you how to use the bridge and claw chopping technique.
