Year 1 Forest School

We are very fast approaching the end of term. We will only be having Forest School on Wednesday 25th June, Wednesday 9th July and Wednesday 16th July. Instead of children being required to bring in a full kit, we just ask for you to send them with a waterproof coat and trainers or if you are happy for them to wear school shoes these will be fine. If we have very heavy rain, we will find an alternate activity to do inside.

Many thanks the Year 1 Team

Information for Dudley Zoo Trip

Evening all. Here are a few pieces of key information for our Dudley zoo trip on Wednesday 2nd July.

  • The children will leave for the trip after the start of the school day and will return before home time.
  • Children are required to wear school uniform , a waterproof coat and sensible, comfy shoes( trainers are allowed) as the Castle and Zoo are all outdoors.
  • Please can each child bring into school their own backpack. They will each be carrying their own water bottle, waterproof coat, sun cream, sun hat and packed lunch.

Many thanks for your cooperation. We are really looking forward to it.

Regards Mrs Evans and Miss Fisher

Y6 Leaver’s Party

With the end of the school year fast approaching, we are excited to share information with you regarding the Year 6 Leaver’s Party. Different to our usual end of year celebrations, the children this year voted unanimously to have this event instead of our usual end of year production. This fun-filled event will take place on the last day of term, Friday 18th July 2025, from 1.15pm until 3.10pm; it will include music, food, games, photo opportunities, inflatables, nerf wars and much more! We invite two adults per child to join us on this occasion for a contribution of £2 per ticket (see ParentPay), which will support the funding of the activities that have been heavily subsidised by school. We look forward to seeing you there!

Congratulations to everyone who took part in our Sports Days this week. We are so proud of everyone’s efforts on a very hot week! A huge thank you to all our spectators too for coming and cheering on the children.

We have combined the scores from each event and the results are as follows….

2nd Place – Wrekin

4th Place – Severn

Here are some of our winner’s photos!

Please let us know and we could give you more details and slot you a time.
