⭐️ Frankie for a fantastic effort all week, especially in Maths.

⭐️ Corben for a fantastic week and for starting to get to school on time.

⭐️ Jean for working hard in Maths, to count in 2s, 5s and 10s.

⭐️ Tayla for being an absolute star and a super friend to others.

Well done everyone!

Another week of hard work in Year 1a! 🙂

We are, again, so proud of all of the hard work that the pupils in Year 1 have been doing this week. As it has been outdoor learning week this week, we decided to take our Art lesson outside. We created some wonderful pictures with things we could find in nature. We finished our work on Jack and the Beanstalk this week by making our very own finger puppets. We used our puppets to tell the story in great detail! 🙂

Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 numbers

11.6.20

Dear Parent/Carer,

We hope you and your families are well and continuing to cope during these stressful times.

In line with government advice, we are trying very hard to plan what happens at Newdale between now and the end of the academic year.

In order for us to move forward with this planning, we need to have firm numbers for the current year groups we have invited back in.

If you have a child or children currently attending in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and / or Year 6 and you plan on continuing to send them in, you need do nothing at all.

If you have children in the above year groups and you plan on removing them for any reason, then please let the office know.

If you have children in these year groups who are currently not attending school, but you would like them to begin attending, we need you to let us know by noon on Monday. Please note that after this deadline we will be unable to accept more children into these year groups.

We will then have firm figures as to who will attend between now and the end of the year. This will allow us to look at the space and staffing we have available as we progress through the rest of the term.

Many thanks for your ongoing support and patience.

Do you like our outdoor artwork?

Today we have been making pictures using things we found outside.

This is a great activity you could try at home.  Simply collect things from nature when you go on a walk and then create a picture when you get home. We would love to see your creations, you could upload a photo to the Year 1 homework blog!
